Magic props

Hi there,

I'd like to make my magic a little more magical... Are we allowed to do any of the following?
* Use glow-in-the-dark fabric for spell packets
* For Circle of Power, use glow-in-the-dark rope or lit-up wire (fiber optics or something like Christmas lights)
* Wear fiberoptic fabric on the spell packet hand (e.g. http://www.lumigram.com/catalog/index.p ... ae387438bc )
* Wear some piece of glowing or fiberoptic clothing (wizard hat, sash, etc)

Interested in other ideas people have had!

P.S: Wondering if Alliance LARP magic users can do something like the old-style D&D "cantrip" type of spell, i.e. little things which just add role playing flavor? See for example http://www.mjyoung.net/dungeon/char/spell001.html

For CoP's, you can absolutely use light up rope, people do it all the time, especially for a rit taking place in a darkened place or at night. For adding things to incants, not really unless you can manage to keep the actual spell incant unchanged.

I knew a guy who used to have some glow-in-the-dark spell packets that he used for nighttime fights, so the other players could tell that he hit them with stuff. And Circles of Power are often done using rope lights, etc.

Regarding fancy incants, as long as you keep the original incant (preferably at the end of your new incant), whatever works: "I call upon the wrath of raging flame as I call forth a Flame Bolt!"
