If Magic Storm is activated via spellstrike will the person who activated it be able to swing 'Magic Storm' or do they put away their weapon and begin delivering the effect via packets?

Assuming all rules are followed for the magic storm (feet planted).

Thanks for the clarification,
-Brent

EDIT: I guess the real heart of this question is can you spell strike channeled spells, and if so is MEC Storm also considered a normal channeled spell an able to be used in this manner :D

So long as you follow the proper rules for Magic Storm, you may continue to spellstrike "Magic Storm" (or other Storm effect) with your weapon.

EDIT: To clarify, you must continue to channel the Magic Storm via further weapon swings (you may not switch to packets for the Magic Storm).
