By order of the Magisterium of Arbor, the following people are to report within the month to Magisterial Headquarters in Arbor, Wayside for questioning in regards to recent brigandry and trade disruption in Buckland Province:

  • Jehan Wyldweaver of Life Storm
    Togashin Zanabanath of the Golden Griffins

Failure to comply will result in summary judgment and penalization.

I am but a lowly attendant to the Baron Buchanon, but there are those who speak to my ear alone and they whisper of greater horrors than mere brigands. I, of course, would not personally give these whispers any credence. I am, at heart, a trusting man and think the world of people, but I would be remiss were I to not relay them. There are those who wish to destroy the peaceful people of Buckland and perhaps beyond! And, though I might bring pains upon my head, I would rather die than see our peaceful lands harmed.

I do not understand all these whispers, for I am a simple man, but they speak of agents from both the Eternal and Ternian Empires, handchosen strike-commanders secretly trained by Effram Rockfist, mercenaries from Valdannis with gold in their eyes and poison on their tongues, upstanding Healers and Merchants and, ... No, I cannot speak this last whisper for it burns at my heart to think corruption runs so deeply within Wayside. I cannot say what I have last heard for I love this land and the thought that our favorites sons might be dark-hearted is too much for my wrinkled brow.

But, please, Magistrates, seek deeply in this matter. This matter may very well mark a greater weed growing in Wayside, a cancerous thorn-bush which threatens to tear the very throat from our land!

I plan on attending a market in Briarpass on the last day of the next month. Could I perhaps have my questioning taken then? I intend to comply with your order, however, the inconvenience you place on me would stretch my limited time dispensing my own duties within the Kingdom of Valdanis.

Can we make an arrangement to meet then?

I know not who you are, as we have not met, and I can assure you that I am a man you tries to refrain from prejudgments. So take no hostility from my words. I don't know the extent of the charges brought, and i know that in most cases they are not my business. I will simple leave you with this, if you are in need of my services feel free to approach me. My values are simple, and so long as you are not committing injustices (which I would never assume of a man of your status) then we may very well never cross paths. Even if you don't require my services, I ask if that you would share a pint with me. I am a friend of many in Wayside, and am always interested in getting to know all those that choose to call Jara's Tavern home for a night.

I apologize for cluttering your dreams once more. There is a favor that I must ask of you, as you are a man of the Law. I seek to find the whereabouts of two individuals who have seemingly disappeared. Their names and titles are: Guild Master Lurin of the Order of the Earthen Fist, and Master of Arms Runir of the the Order of the Earthen Fist. Needless to say finding the location of these individuals is paramount, any help that you could give in your spare moments is greatly appreciated.

Kevar Byrne: I am a loyal inquisitor of the Magisterium. If you wish to join that order, and dedicate your life to maintaining law in Wayside you can enlist at the Headquarters on Scales Road in Arbor. If not, I would ask that you not act in any lawgiving or enforcement capacity. I thank you for the offer of assistance, I will seek you out if you have information I need.

I do not know the whereabout of these Guild Masters, nor do I see them in the official roster of Wayside guild members. If they are not members of Arborian guilds, they are not my concern. Luck in finding them.

I am Sameda Roshina, I may have news of your friends.I have seen Lurin-Sama and his companion traveling through Koshinarea towards Gatick about a month gone. They seemed in good health as they traveled through the night and stopped for a few hours rest in my Inn The Shinning Dragon. The one you name as Runir-san paid in gold for rooms and refreshments for the both and by morning they had left.
