I'm working on building my Character and I wanted to know if there was a hole in society I could fill. What does the economy currently have?

Also would any one be willing to meet me in person to do a little battle practice/tutorial?

Dude, don't worry too much about what other people want. Fill the hole you want to fill/play! :)

We have periodic fight practices, and there will definitely be at least one before our next event, so keep an eye on the boards to get in on the action!

Definitely echoing David. Role-playing gets very not fun when you start choosing your personal character based on the group dynamic. Groups change. This is a long-term game. Play what is fun for you. Don't worry about out-of-game skill, you can develop that. Think fun, fun, and more fun for YOU.

I'm just looking to make an informed decision about which direction I take my Character.

Also I don't want to be the Kmart that has to competing with the existing Target, Not yet anyways.

I'm also curios as to what I could buy in game. Does anyone sell massages? Or are there any bards that I could pay to write me a limerick?

as a tabletop player, i asked the same with my character. it is a completely foreign concept that there is not something needed to be represented more in the group, and i still have trouble dealing with that, but you can't know what the other players are or what they'll do because you might not always be working in a team. there is not a lot of in fighting as far as i can see, but the potential is there. that is the most paranoid reason why there is no requirements

the big reason is, like the others have said, you do what will net you the most fun and that's what matters.

the way i got around it is i started in a group that was established, so there were roles to fill... so maybe i'm not the best at giving advice hahaha

DracoIam,
As far as I've seen, nobody sells any of the things you've mentioned so far. There is a masseuse in the Seattle chapter who sells messages in game.

Just to let you know, as a chapter we do already supply first aid, and I always have a tailoring kit in Monster Camp. A few people also bring their own kits for these.

Realistically, if you wanted to do all of these In Game, and already have the Out of Game skills to do so, you should feel free to incorporate ALL of them into a character. There's no limit on non-build skills other than your own.
