Massive carrier question

Per the massive carrier addition, no protective abilities may stop it, save "not there!" abilities like evade, dodge, phase.

If I attempt to Bane/Cloak a massive attack (namely PTD Shatter/Disarm), what happens? I assume the result is similar to Parry/Riposte, but just in case it happens, I want to know.

Depending on the level of clarification and discussion (and potential involvement of the Owners or other national staff, if needed) this may take time.
 
Even if used as a carrier with an effect that could otherwise be Cloaked or Baned, a Cloak or Bane will be of no use against the Massive swing (similar to any other defense other than those specifically stated to work against Massive, e.g. Dodge/Evade/Phase).
