Last night, as I walked back to my Bellingham dorm building, the sky lit up and I heard a sound like a sonic boom.

They think it was a meteor. According to the following news story, people speculate that it landed about 90 miles south of Chehalis. I wonder how close that is to Miller? Keep an eye out for strange looking rocks and craters this weekend...

They might not be In-Game.

oh, so the info on the link I posted above turn out to be a hoax!

I thought that story about meteorites seemed fishy! I've seen over 100 meteors in my days, and that thing last night...it was not like anything that I have ever witnessed...
 
Yeah my mom and dad where talking about that...it happened like at 2:00 in the morning. ALIENS!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:
 
I hope I never see something like that again. Especially that late at night.

i thought it was lightning at first but it was clear.

Man, I can't beleive I missed it! That would have been sooooo kool to see.
 
So yeah, apparently when that flash went off, everyone on my Final Fantasy XI Online Linkshell (guild, if you will) all started typing:
"Holy hell! What is that light?!"

and
"OMG! The world is ending!"

and one person even went
"Damnit, I've been playing this game too long... Im starting to see day and night pass in seconds... >_<"
