Mid week events

With my schedule changing to make weekend events nigh-impossible for me until at least after July, I was wondering if there are ever mid week events that are held?
I need my fix!
 
Not really practical for the majority of the NPCs I know of around Portland area.
You could always look at trying to do a small get together for some practice & talk shop.
 
I would get together mid-week to talk shop, practice, mend/create costumes, and socialize! I live in SE Portland, and would be willing to host the first meeting. Weigh in if you would be interested in something like this.
