Missing with United Blow

When someone swings and misses with Combined Strike, Foundation Strike, Empowered Blow, Enhanced Strike and Magisterium Strike all allow the cast spell to be meditated back if the swing misses. Is there a reason you can't mediate the expended spell back when using United Blow? All of the other similar skills include language except for United Blow.
