Mod Days and You

Sometimes, there's just not enough time to do all the adventuring you needed to do. Mod days are one way to help us tell more awesome Alliance stories.

A mod day is a special, one-off event that's put on to allow players to explore content that doesn't fit into our normal framework of events and downtime actions. What is a mod day, and how does it work?
  1. The process starts as you're adventuring normally. You try to do something, and the plot team tells you that it would be more appropriate as a mod day. Whether it's an action that doesn't quite fit in at an event, or a downtime action that can't be done justice in a simple text response, Plot will let you when a mod day is the most appropriate way to make it happen.
  2. Work with the plot team to schedule a mod day. The best way to do this is get your group organized, then send an email with what you are trying to do to the main plot email. Copy all your group members, as well as the GM. Note that just like anything else, you are expressing what your group is going to attempt. This is not necessarily how it will actually play out, but the information helps cast and crew in their planning. Please designate a single person to be the main organizer and send only one email through that person.
  3. We will arrange a game for you! This will be a little more expensive than a normal day game, since you’re getting a custom, curated experience just for you.
  4. Please note that the mod day will be invite only on an IC level. Just like an individual mod that takes place during a normal game, you need to know that it’s happening and be part of the group at start time to participate. All players must pre-reg in order to attend. We will almost certainly be calling for NPCs though!
