Moving Blanket/pad Gambeson

Not sure how to post pictures but made a decent Gambeson out of a moving blanket. The padded type you put over furniture and what not. Wish I could have found a different color it is like a light blue. A brown one would have probably been a little more appropriate. But a nice sleeveless Gambeson just figured I'd share the idea.

That's a great way to do it!

Dark Knight Armoury also sells pretty cheap padded bracers, greaves, etc. So if you're looking to find another 3-4 points in armor, check it out.

im larger so it only goes just below the waist and had to make it sleeveless.

I always found it discouraging to put tons of effort into a great looking armor like a padded gambeson, only to be "rewarded" with the worst possible armor value per location. This despite how tough such armor was, historically speaking.
