One of the things which you may be noticing is a Bardic Competition being set up for the National Event. If you are a musician, or play one on TV, even if you are NPCing please bring your stuff (if, that is, ya wanna!) Perhaps someone can borrow your instruments to perform themselves (if they are traveling and can't bring their own) or we'll send you down as an NPC to dance, sing and play (assuming, of course, you won't make people cry or go deaf/blind/struck dumb... )
