Alright well I've got a soft spot for katanas and now I have a soft katana to slay my enemies with.

Most of it is fairly standard. I gradually curved the PVC using a curved form and a heat gun, I widened the grip using a second piece of PVC split down the middle, and the handle wrap is done in a close-to-traditional method using synthetic leather and some green lace stuff I found at a surplus store. The guard is just meticulously sculpted and duct tape wrapped camp mat foam.
