National Event, Sept. 3rd - 6th, 2010

So, on that note, the cheapest tickets out there I've found so far will run about $300 total, from Priceline, on Alaskan.
They're from Portland (PDX) to Cleveland (CLE) (round trip), leaving Thursday and returning Tuesday. For an extra $10 you could bump up to "not early *** in the am," something that at least I would strongly consider.
I think we'd do well to get on the same flight, but who knows. Baggage is extra nowadays, too, so there's extra fee on all the airlines for that. We could probably ship our weapons as necessary.

Seeing as how I need to be at the symposium part of that, I will have to leave earlier than the rest of you.

I'm looking at leaving Friday (take Continental Flight 274 non-stop from SeaTac to Cleveland), rent a car for the weekend (cheaper than a taxi), and fly back Monday afternoon (Delta Flight 3330 Cleveland to Detroit and Delta Flight 2121 Detroit to Seattle).

If they allow my staff I will probably ship it rather than risk it getting destroyed in baggage handling.

I'd be interested in attending the symposium, if possible. Aside from the "it'd be nice to have an extra set of eyes/ears/opinions from this coast" standpoint, I'm also interested in meeting more of the owners personally and getting a feel for the process. Does anybody know if that's an option?

I might see about getting the time off and going.
