Alliance HQ was contacted towards the end of 2012 by National Geographic about the possibility of filming a 15 minute segment about LARP for a TV show on their channel. Their shooting schedule was for mid-February. As some of you know, many of the East chapters close for the winter and don't run games, so HQ contacted our chapter because our chapter has a three-day weekend right in the middle of the shooting window. We just found out that the show won't fit into the production company's schedule for this season, so they will not be shooting at this event.
