New Acarthia Town Guard hiring to find ghoul lairs

My name is Elthan, and I'm the Watchtower Captain at Watchtower Prosperity. We're the Town Guard watchtower within the city limits, overlooking the merchant district.

The New Acarthia Town Guard has received reports of ghoul attacks within the city itself. There have been a few resurrections, and even one of our own was taken out by these monsters. The Town Guard takes this very seriously and we plan to investigate.

We have a few leads on potential locations where these monsters rest during the day, and where they may store their valuables -- including a family heirloom ring that has been reported stolen from a very important person. We're hiring to investigate these leads, and find the ghouls' lair(s). You won't need to enter the ghouls' lair, just help the Town Guard find out where it is. We anticipate no particular danger to you. No special skills are necessary -- in fact, the Town Guard offers good pay to newer adventurers looking for work.

With the help of adventurers and some hired scouts, the Town Guard was able to locate four lairs held by the repugnant ghouls that have been menacing the streets of New Acarthia in recent weeks. Several resurrections have been reported, including that of one member of the New Acarthia Town Guard, and we cannot emphasize strongly enough the danger presented by these fiends. It is imperative for our safety that we group together to find and stop the ghouls.

The Town Guard is now working with members of The Vigilant from Forestwatch and Wolfwatch Keep, Tiatar to plan our approach to these lairs. Members of the Town Guard and The Vigilant order both will be seeking adventurers willing assist in exploration of these lairs, leading to the hopeful attack upon the ghouls themselves. If you've got the courage and skills to assist this effort, be on the lookout for The Vigilant and the New Acarthia Town Guard as we recruit further help.

The New Acarthia Town Guard partnered with The Vigilant to explore four lairs occupied by the ghouls that have been marauding through the city in recent nights. One lair was destroyed by adventurers, caved in with explosives. There were no further ghoul attacks reported that night, and the Town Guard is hopeful the adventures were successful in diminishing the ghoul population.
