New Player Introduction

Hi! I talked to a bunch of people at Norwescon, and I am very interested in joining the game. It was suggested I introduce myself here, so here goes...

I've been RPing for 15 years now, and have had a little bit of experience LARPing (my first immersive LARP was SA the weekend before last, and I've done a couple Cam games). I was hoping to meet some people online, and get a better feel for things before I show up. I'm trying to read up as much as I can but nothing compares to just talking to people about the experience, and what I need to know starting out.

I'm thinking of making a human healer-type, someone that can just join up with people and run towards where the action is. ^_^ Any help getting started would be much appreciated.
