New Player Introduction

Newbie
Hi. I met a bunch of people at Norwescon, and they suggested I post something here. (For anyone I talked to, I'm the redhead in the black jacket with the giant hood. Or Byar from SA, if that helps.)

I'm interested in joining the game, but definitely want to meet more people and talk about how game runs a little more before I show up. I'm going to start going through the rules and the board some more, but it's always better to get to know people beforehand, as I'll be coming alone.

I think I might want to do some NPCing at first if that's allowed, and then am looking at making a healer-type character. I like being able to just join up with people and run towards the action.

So anyhow, it would be great to get to know a couple people, maybe reconnect with the ones I met at con. Any help for a new player would be much appreciated.

Welcome.
I am Sean, one of the gentlemen that was working the table at Norwescon (the wolf if you came by Saturday) but I am down in the Portland area.

I know someone was looking at getting a monthly or bimonthly fighter practice going up around the Seattle area.

Facebook is another site where a lot of information gets tossed around: https://www.facebook.com/groups/allianceseattle/
The National Forums are over here: http://nerohq.com/forum/index.php?sid=5 ... 1bbeda74ce

Also, latest version of the rulebook is available on PDF version here: http://www.double-dragon-ebooks.com/sin ... &x=62&y=77

There's also a ton of useful information on our main website, including a page about NPCing. I usually recommend NPCing the first time, because you can get a feel for different kinds of play styles, and there's a low barrier to entry. We'd certainly be happy to have you at our April 19-21 event.
