Greetings All!
As the 2011 season rapidly approaches I would like to share some news.
As you may already know, Robb Graves has stepped down as our Head of Logistics, and Rich Ditzler has departed as our Head of Props. Both these gentlemen have worked very hard for several years to improve their respective departments and have been a pleasure to work with. Both are taking a bit of time away from the game to pursue some exciting new opportunities in their lives and we wish them the best of luck.
I am pleased to announce the 2011 Alliance HQ Senior Staff Team:
Kyle “Grim” Spriggle has joined our staff as the new Head of Logistics. Kyle has worked with Robb in the past and will continue to do so to ensure a smooth transition. He has already brought some ideas to the table to help improve your logistical experience and I look forward to seeing these put into action.
Maggie Lee, better known to some of us as Luka the Romani is joining us as our new Head of Props. She has some fantastic ideas on getting our backstage better organized and better equipped to put out a great game, and her theater experience should give us some fantastic scenes this year.
Illana Ogan, a long-time supporter of all things NPC camp has graciously consented to become our Writeup Coordinator (corrected!) Sometimes herding the cats that are our wonderful writers can be a challenge for our weekend directors, but she’s got her lasso ready!
Bill Gibbs has my deep gratitude for resurrecting and becoming the Head of our Food Committee. Keeping a bunch of LARPers fueled for the weekend is often a thankless, but nevertheless important job, and I for one very much look forward to returning to the days of dinnertime roleplay and all the shenanigans that accompany it.
Dan Lineaweaver remains on as our Head of Rules, and is looking for marshals. That means you! We’re looking for individuals with a good knowledge of the rules, and equally importantly a good sense of fair play and the spirit of the rules.
Todd Navas is with us for another season as Head of Plot. I’ve seen the teasers he and his team have for the upcoming year, and wow do I wish I could PC them all! But I’ll have to leave that to you, our awesome players.
Eric Stehle, better known to most of you as Baron Ivan Drake continues to serve as our Head of Customer Service. He’s your point person for concerns, questions and yes, even complaints.
Please join me in thanking these hardworking individuals for their continued commitment to making Alliance HQ the best that it can be. Here’s to a great 2011!
