The day has started out lovely- sun and breeze and birds in the trees.
Cyn had left the town she was beginning to call home to arrange for more of her extensive belonging to be shipped. She was gone most of the day, assuming the most exciting event of the festival would be the moving of the Circle the night before.
She was wrong- clearly. Cyn returned to find a ghost town- the Gypsy Nokolie or Nikosa- was just arriving as well. She assumed he was off doing... Gypsy things...
None the less the arrived at the same time to a ghost town and sounds of battle not far off....
Well she really did not need to relive that whole thing- she was unable to save three lives and they were at war, that was all Cyn really was concerned about.
Even now days later as she was sorting through her gowns and belongings--- mindless sorting as she was focused on the new war effort.
A sigh escaping her lips as she thought of how utterly useless she will be-a healer of minimal skills.
Hands moved deftly over yards of fabric as she placed them in boxes. Unfinished projects- gowns still pinned, needing repair and yards of fabric still uncut...
Cyn's eyes lingered to her piles of gowns "Such good you lot will do in war- little need of a lady in all this. Little good my courtly training will do me on a battlefield..."
Her eyes soon found her potions and her spell book and healers staff, giving a soft smile to them, her hand lovingly caressing the staff. "You all will be of use - but enough?"
Cyn gave a deep sigh as she surveyed her traveling pavilion- "I had hoped to avoid all this... But what must be done must be done...and His Grace is the right... So I must stand behind him, no matter what. "
She began to fold once more when her hands found something and a thought came to mind... A small way she can help...
