Newbie Race/Class questions. ^_^

Well, I'm attending BMT here soon for the Airforce, and realize that I want to be able to LARP, I figure that well, there is an Alliance in every state as far as I know, so I had a few questions as per a particular Race and it's starting stats, as well as the available classes


I'd absolutely love to play a Dark Elf, but frankly, I don't know the stats for them as I'm from a very smalltown larp. so I was wondering if someone could inform me, or link me to a place where I could find the stats for said terrible beastie.

On the Class note, I'd like to know about any rogue classes, thiefs, assassins, or well, just plain rogues and their stats/abilities if I could.

I have absolutely no real experience from Alliance apart from NPCing two or three times in Traverse City, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

There is an Alliance chapter in many states, but not all. Check here (http://alliancelarp.com/chapters.php) for chapter locations. If there isn't a chapter in a particular state just know Alliance is always growing. All the info you need can be found in the core rulebook. You can get a PDF copy for 5.99 or a hard copy for 20 here (http://alliancelarp.com/books.php). As a general rule races gain more benefits based on how hard they are to costume.

First off you have chosen the best larp around imo. As for your race and class...alliance works a little different. For races: Races each start with a couple of advantages and disadvantages aside from Human which have none of each. With your class each set of skills cost different amounts of Build points (BP) for each class. Every class can learn from each set of skills just at different amounts of build. I highly recommend getting the pdf book online for the 6 bucks and checking it out. Once you start playing its very hard to stop. Good luck and i hope to see you join the Alliance Ranks.
