NPC Guild is Back!
We'll put up the full details of exactly what NPC Guild is shortly, but for those who are already members, please attempt to join the NPC Guild group now, and I'll get you access to the NPC Guild section of this forum.
 
just wondering is there any perks for being in the NPC guild?
 
Absolutely!

We're hammering them out right now on the Staff board, though.
If you have any suggestions, let us know, and we'll consider them for the NPC Guild compensation package.
At the very least, you get to play cheaper, NPC food, get a 'semi-permanent' NPC to play during downtime, gain access to the NPC Guild forum (where plot information will be given out ahead of time to NPC Guild members so that they are more involved in the weekend plot) and can pre-view the lair cards and job boards. All this and more (seriously, there's more, but we haven't settled it all down yet, check after the Oregon event) will be yours when you join the 'Guild of Doing Unpleasant Things to the PCs!'
 
Also once your in the Npc Guild. What is required too stay in the guild once your in aka how many events/gamedays can you miss also will the members of the npc guild get too play there PCs once in a blue moon?
 
So, historically, NPC Guild NPCs get to 'cameo' at an event from time to time (that is, they spend an hour or so IG as their character, then go back to NPCing). As far as PCing a whole event, that is much harder to do. One of the big ideas behind NPC guild is that the people in it can be given much more plot information than normal NPCs because they won't be PCing.

Generally, NPC Guild commitments are for a year. In that time, we ask that you attempt to make it to every event that you can. Gamedays aren't as big a deal. If you can make it to them, great. If not, we understand that sometimes they just don't work out. If you're going to miss more than one (or maybe two) events in a year, being in the guild might not be beneficial.
 
Ok good too know... maby after my problem with my hip is solved ill be looking into joining for atleast a year too give it a try but till then i cant be sure ill make it too them all. so thank you for helping me with my questions :)
 
Commitment for the guild back in the day was how many events you wanted to npc for + all gamedays in-between. Gamedays weren't a big deal to miss but events were a big deal obviously and if you couldn't make it to notify someone on plot, staff, and/or the guild leader.

I'll be posting a the members list, expectancies, rewards, etc. as soon as we can. If you want to be apart of the NPC Guild, PM me and or a member of staff and we'll sign you up.
