I wanted to follow up on my post from a few weeks ago where we announced that we would be doing NPC shift starting this season. We have a couple of items below to tell you all about in regards to these shifts.
1. Our writing team has been working on a multi-chart setup to help build a connected story with in game rewards for what your team and character did while you were on NPC shift.
2. We have created the chart of what our preliminary NPC shifts times. These might change depending on what you the community thinks is fair.
Shift one - Friday Night - Game on to 1am
Shift two - Saturday Morning - Breakfast(9am) to 1pm
Shift three - Saturday Afternoon - 1pm to 5pm
Shift four - Saturday Evening - 5pm to 9pm
Shift five - Saturday Night - 9pm to end of Night (1 am)
Shift six - Sunday Morning - Breakfast(9am) to 1pm
3. We are trying an additional policy with our NPC shifts for this season to see how it goes. For each event we are going to offer a limited amount of NPC shift buyouts on first come first served basis. This would allow players to pay an additional $25 to opt out of doing a NPC shift. This money will go towards NPC camp props and items and help us rebuild on our new site.
