Lauren and Conrad are NPCing for sure...

And we stole amanda? Awesome =D

Caitlin isn't coming, she coaches volleyball that weekend. (And, in fact, every weekend that there is a nero game on the WC that is currently on the schedule.)

I will likely (read: probably, since both of these guys have had to pull out before, but this game is free, so it's looking better) have one or two brand new players who both intend to NPC. Both are long time tabletop and White Wolf style larpers, and are reasonably/completely new to boffing. They should make for decent NPCs if I can get them in the car.

They are all combat age. Christina is an experienced LARPer through Legacies and offshoots. They are all experienced RPers.

I have updated the above NPC list. It looks like we will have a great NPC turn out. This is awesome!

One of my guys (Michael) is a 'for sure' (we've figured out transportation and everything).
The other guy (James) is still a 'probably.' He says 90%. I'll know for sure when everyone's stuff is in the car.
We're considering taking the ferry to the west side of the sound and driving down that (to avoid Tacoma, Seattle, and Everett). Anybody done that?

Ferry boats are notoriously slow. But they are fun rides. Can't speak for that one specifically though. =)

The highways down the west side are underdevloped and often wind through small towns. Speed limits run low. It is a beautiful drive, though...

That said!

I am going to be doing shopping for the NPC food this weekend. Anyone know of any overriding dietary restrictions for the NPC's they are bringing? I have one person I am accomodating already, and my goal is to have something for everyone.

Planned meals -

Friday evening:
Baked chicken
Beans and Rice
Green Salad

Saturday Morning:
Scrambled eggs (cheese on the side for adding if you want)
Bacon ends
Bagles and nuefchatel (lower fat version of cream cheese)

Saturday noon:
Grab and go burritos

Saturday Evening:
Chicken soup
Bread

Sunday morning:
Pancakes with fruit
Bacon ends

Sunday afternoon:
Grab and go sandwiches

Sunday evening:
Split pea soup
Cornbread

Monday morning:
Cereal with milk

I also plan on having a variety of snacking foods available for off-time eating, including the old standy's of hot dogs and ramen.

Yes, NPC's get fed. We prefer them to actually be able to keep fighting and RPing, and that is best done on a stomach that isn't empty or in knots from bad food.

A bacon end is something you buy at Cash and Carry wholesale stores. You know how bacon in supermarkets is all nice and pretty? Bacon ends are the pieces they cut off to make it all nice and pretty. Not very pretty - but definitely bacon.

Wow- is anyone else a bit afraid of the # of NPCs?

Don't get me wrong I like the idea of RP NPCs and of Crunchies that actually crunch a bit but wow I'm not used to that ratio of PCs to NPCs or anywhere near it.

Exciting,

Paul

Hey all, I might have to back out of the event. My daughter is hella sick and if she is that way still by the event I will be un able to make it, just thought I would give you all a heads up.

Some of the funnest events I have been to were close to 1 pc to 1 npc ratio
