Using the revised wording from the Spark vote since it's the most recent update to the text of Oak of the Archmage-

The rules as written are clear about what effect can be used for Channeling and Spark, but is the intent of spell striking signature spells to allow any effect the signature spell can produce, or is it limited to the effect chosen during purchase of the high magic ability?

Example:

Celly the Celestial Mage chooses Oak of the Archmage with Flame as their effect. Would they be able to spell strike a 45 Stone bolt through a weapon attack with their staff?

Oak of the Archmage can deliver Signature Spells of the aspect for which the high magic ability was purchased, with any effect that the wielder can select when casting a Signature Spell from memory.
For a celestial Oak of the Archmage, normally this will mean any of Flame, Ice, Lightning, or Stone, but effects like the Foundation's Form ritual may limit the wielder's choice for effects, and the Magical Evocation ritual effect will allow the wielder to select Magic for the effect.
