Someone pointed out to me that they did not even know about the Seattle boards, or pre-registration dates, as they had been watching here for updates. So, I thought I'd post the link to the event info on the Seattle boards, in case there are others in the same boat.

Couldn't we just have the national forum link to our actual forum page?
 
I don't have experience administering this forum software, but I don't imagine replacing the chapter forum on here with an external link would be as easy as it would be on your run-of-the-mill web page.
 
It's incredibly easy in phpbb. In fact, setting up a link to look like a forum is natively supported. I think the issue lies in wanting to present a homogeneous front for the Alliance rather than a collection of links to pages with no consistent style or theme.

Or something.
 
There used to be a stickied thread that said something to the effect of "HEY! We don't used these boards here very often. You should check out these other boards over there because that is where we are active".
 
I stand corrected.
