Official Stormbreak Feast Day

At the event closer, we talked about the idea of having a feast day over the very long winter's break, and now it's a reality!

When: February 9. 2019 from 11-5
Where: Brunswick, NY

We are still working out a lot of the logistical details of food/donations/plot, etc. but they will be posted here and on the FB event as we get them ironed out. This will not be a faire day, meaning no build, treasure, etc. will be given out - it is an RP event and a chance to likely fancy up your character in a non-combat environment.

We have a venue and details will be posted later. Brunswick is a village of Troy, NY - located about 2.5 hours north of NYC, 3.5 hours west of Boston, and about 2.5 hours north of Binghamton.

This is a non-alcohol venue, however; there are plans for a post-event meetup in the works :)

The event is limited to 100 people total, 11AM-5PM with setup and break-down in the hour before and after (help for break-down is very appreciated).

Lodging:
The closest hotel is a Hilton Garden Inn, 2 miles from the venue with rates around $100 a night. They have double queen rooms for the same price, and suites if you want to split a room with someone :).

Train station shuttles available free with reservation, just need to notify the office.

If you’re driving yourself out, there are some low cost options in the Latham area, about 10-15 minutes away (depending on traffic) -

Super 8 ($50-$60 a night, $90 a night for a double room) - https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/super-8/latham-new-york/super-8-latham-albany-troy-area/overview?iata=00065402&cid=PS%3ASE%3A20160201%3AGGL%3ATM%3ASEUS%3AExact_Latham_03690&tel=8005360719

Trains:

Here are same day train schedules for 2/9/19 from locations I know people are close to and have arrivals that work with the event time. For more info, check out the Amtrak site, with ALB as the station.

There are additional options, these are just the ones with same day travel. Springfield, Boston and New Haven all come into Albany as well, however; they either only have afternoon trains or require layovers that take a decent amount of time.
