Oil of Slipperiness, Paste of Stickiness, and No effect?

Oil of Slipperiness and Paste of Stickiness both indicate that you should call No Effect when hit with the respective effects you would not be taking. This seems to be inconsistent with the standard uses of the No Effect call, generally indicating a status that is not likely to change in any way as time progresses.

Shouldn't the correct call be Resist?
