I ain't worked 86 years on this here land just to have some trumped up spook toss me off my own property! I don't care what Lord Tormel's men have been saying... "That banshee's gonna come right past your house!" they said, "You're a fool, Smit, you're gonna get yourself killed!", they said, "You've already been in the circle twice in the last ten years!", well I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!

Maybe Ol' Smit ain't got as much as them Hitchcocks or the Attwaters, but I got enough put away. When they tried to pull me outta my house, I called in a favor and got a Ward set up. Let's see that banshee run through that!

Ol’ Smit mighta made a little… miscalculation. That banshee, she came screamin’ through here last night and the ward held up just fine, but the barn and my fields weren’t warded. All my animals, half the early crops I got planted, it’s all just dead and black. I got one horse left that was out on the far edge of the back field… I took her out to look around and it’s like this all across the way. She done a number on this whole area.

I… I just gotta say, anyone else in her path should just get out. Get outta the way. It’s not worth it. That scream… That sound’s gonna haunt me.
