In our final announcement of this announcement cycle, it is our pleasure to announce that we will be hosting an ONLINE EVENT in August!
August 14th - 23rd (a birthday event for both Barb and Ashley!) will be our Online Event! It will be filled with mods that will exist in some form of online space. We’re still in development, but there’s likely to be Discord-based RP mods like our Tavern Nights, forum-based RP mods, TikTok videos, in-character Zoom calls, some puzzle-room-type-deals, and maybe even some meetups in online gaming spaces like Minecraft or Sea of Thieves! If you have some ideas of things you’d like to do, please let us know! We’re happy to take your suggestions!
Most of the mods will run on the weekends, but expect a few things running during the week for those who can’t make it to weekend events. Likewise, not everyone will be able to participate in every mod. In some cases, we’ll have sign-up sheets for things, and we’ll have guidelines about how and when to sign up. We want everyone to feel like they can be included in the fun, so please send us a message if you have questions or concerns at any time.
Some nitty-gritty details: because of Alliance bylaws, XP will NOT be awarded for this event. Your participation is completely voluntary. You can still buy back the July and August events as if you had attended, though, so there is that. This event *will* be furthering plots as if it were an in-person event. We’ll try and make it clear what plotlines are developing where, so you can pick ones that are of interest to you. If you have questions about plotlines, please feel free to ask. We’re hoping to be extra transparent about this because of the unusual format.
