Not sure this is the right place for this question, but here it is:

When Tab is playing the Dark Man, there is sometimes someone behind him hurling packets (generally of elemental body). What does this person rep? Is this just damage coming from Dissonance? Is it some visible part of Dissonance's form? Is it some other being? More to the point, would it be metagaming to notice when this person is not present, and act accordingly? Can this person be attacked separately from Dissonance?

Signed,

If they've got a white headband on, they represent the energy spewing forth from Dissonance. They're not a valid target to attack, and should stay out of the way of rogues going for D's back. And they're there to catch Tab if he falls.

If they're repped as a monster with no headband, they're playing something that's defending Tab and the packet attacks are their own. And they're there to catch Tab if he falls. (Sensing a pattern here?)

Chances are, there will always be someone around Tab when he's on stilts who has the job of stopping his head from bouncing off the ground. Christina likes him undented  . It's probably safe to assume that Dissonance always has the option of making those elemental body packets (or whatever they were, I can't remember any more) fly at whoever attacks him.

It's not a cloud of energy, or anything like that. It's just hard to deal with that crazy two-hander and the packets at the same time.
