Our new address (for the Faire Play site)

Which doesn't seem to work on google maps yet. It puts you on Ridge road about 10 miles north if you google map it.

yeah, they said it may take a while until it's completely active, but I spoke to the woman in charge and we were both looking at google maps when I pointed out exactly where we were. She was familiar with the area, and we discussed local landmarks and the church on the corner at Fairdale and the white house across the street and so on, so I assume this is right.
 
Wonderful news, Mike. :] Makes leaving "I am here this weekend and if you don't hear from me in a week, start your search here" notes easier!
 
The address puts you on the correct road on googlemaps, but about 2 miles south by the tire place, near the 911 memorial.

Still, it's getting closer.

I heard back from the commission in charge of the addressing and they assure me that the address of Ridge Road is correct -- they say that google maps just hasn't caught up to all the changes yet, and we're not the only ones showing up incorrectly on google. "Any mail sent to that address will definitely get to you, though!"

So for now, we'll just check google maps and mapquest and such every now and then until they catch up with the changes.

Has anyone tried this in their gps to the site yet?
 
I just thought I'd check up on this.

Fair warning it looks like it still hasn't as of yet really corrected to be the actual 'right' location. And in fact it's a good several miles off.

The 'Directions' link on the HQ homepage works good as always though! :thumbsup:
 
Do NOT do a search for "Fairdale, PA" because it will take you out past Pittsburgh.

Search "South Montrose PA" though and that will lead you very close. If you use google maps, you can even scroll over, following State Route 3029, and see the barn, along with my Honda Element parked in front.
