Overall Thoughts Aug Event

I think that overall I would say this is the best seattle event that I have been apart of. I would like to give big kudos to the NPC's for givng this event everything they had...it really made the event

Fav Moments
1. The hairy man face that appeared under the veil when I was trying to be serious
2. Watching Pearl and party scatter down the stairs when the cave was collapsing
3. The friday night scene playing the store owner(Mal) and just having a nice lone roleplay scene with a bunch of pc's giving information of the goings on of the town.

4. The fourth was really good but ended on a down note...Here follows the Readers Digest version
Cave hulk chases the parakeet...Parakeet runs behine building and trys to lose cave hulk in woods....cave hulk follows....Parakeet fails Dex check and falls

Neg
1. There was some downtime that the Pc's were waiting which still needs to be worked on
2. My oog banter at the one mod.....my fault...it will be corrected
3. The late start for game on...which can be corrected.

since i was an npc i dont really know how much fun the pc's had rp wise, but i feel like npc's who went more all out in their monster appearance gave a little more edge to the pc's.
i couldn't help not going all out.
so im thinking about donating costumes and such to npc camp. maybe some masks too. [quicker and easier than makeup and most of the time looks better]

i also feel like, from the point of view of an npc, that we all could have taken more initiative in handling crunchy cards ourselves instead of waiting for a plot member to give the ok to go out as something like a lightening squirrel. [you know what i mean]

and maybe to compliment this trait of getting things done so the pc's have fun, plot could give npc's a slight headsup as when theyll need some npc's for a specific mod or such. other than that, i feel like we did our best with the amount of plot members and npc's that we had.

i plan on npc'ing for a bit longer, so ill do my best to improve my capabilities in making sure the pc's have something to kill/play with and being there for when plot needs someone for a mod or logistics.

...we could use more black tabards. ;]
