Player's Guide/Race Guides/Map Updates?

Is there planned updates for the aforementioned information? And if so, what type of time frame (weeks/months/years) and how major of changes?

There will be an update to the Players Guide probably within the next month (definitely before the one day) - it will largely focus on adding major events from the last year (civil war, anyone?) and extended write-ups for each of the nations of Terna.

There will be updates to a couple race packets but we're not going through every single one. I think the one that will see the most changes is the High Ogre packet, and to my knowledge we've never had any High Ogre PCs at Chicago (correct me if I'm wrong!)

I'll let Rob or Ryan cover maps, I'm not sure of the exact timeline on those. They are being worked on, though.
 
So I need to assassinate someone powerful publicly to get more coverage in the handbook....during the one day?
 
Well, the opportunity will be there at the one day if that's really what you want to do.

At least you didn't mention that the 1 day is taking place in Northshire, now that would have been a spoiler we wouldn't want slipping out.
 
When the new maps come out, are the maps general knowledge or must one complete so IG pre-requisites before knowing about the map?

I ask because I want to make some real versions for my new character and my friends.
 
Maps and everything in the players' guide are general knowledge. Whether your character comes in knowing all or some or none of the information in the guide is entirely up to you.

This will not be the version in the updated guide, but until then you can reference this map of Terna until we get the updated ones out:

If you want to buy one in character. I sell them from my shop. I am working on copy from one copper and up.
 
So I don't want to say toooooooooooooooo much but...........................the 2015 Player's Guide and more should be released in a few days. I'm not saying a map or two is included, but I'm not saying it isn't either.......
