plot wrap up on Parna

So, the ending of last game, left some dangling plot lines that will make it sticky for characters to follow through on the Gateway of Hope.

a) Civil war. That's the big one... Black's line was still unresolved last I heard, with a Pretender to the throne claiming title as well against good King Jonas.

b) Oaths of fealty. This really ties into the other one, but there are several knights and others who have an Oath of Fealty to the current crown. How can they, in good conscience, leave their land in such a state without violating their oaths?

c) Active military. Many of these do seem to wrap up to point "a". Assuming that point is somehow resolved, I could see Parna sending in a military detachment for exploration. I mean, Parna is an expansionistic empire, so I could see them sending off explorers to help find new resources to fund the rebuilding of the nation.

d) The hobbling homeland. Did the undead there go "poof" when Magnus was defeated? There are PC's with a vested interest in freeing their land, and I can see a resistance to leaving that held in the hands of Necromancy.


I'm not saying another game needs to be done for wrap up (no, Mike and Warlock, you can relax). But... maybe an epilogue of some sort, so there's a clean severance for the new game?
