Man, so long as Ohio stays out of this, this could be a good poll.

I've done my best to keep chads, hanging or otherwise, out of the poll.

And Ohio has their own chapter now, let them have their own poll. :)

One thing I didn't see on the poll, but I would like to add as a personal like: having to defend a location while a specified event happens. Some of the most fun battles I've had have been when guarding someone against assault while they scramble to finish the ritual, or somesuch. Plus, my new character has got a few tricks up his sleeve . . .

Noted... I kind of thought of that under the patrol/sit watch stuff, but your request will go on the record.

Interesting. So far, there's only 1 "keep it like it has been" but the responses are quite evenly spread (nothing more than 15%, and there's a lot of 4 - 5 response entries as I write this). Nothing is hugely high or low. So ... the end result will probably be the lonely "keep it as it is" ;)

I think we will give it some time, but yes I am looking to see if there is a large call for one thing or another (or a couple things).

Just a heads up, this poll allows for you to make more than one choice.

Not sure what category this would fall under, but I'd like to see more NPC merchants that wander the town, selling potions, weapons, items, alchemy, protective spells; and things that aren't normally offered by PC merchants in town -- scrolls, componants, and other hard to find/rare items.

ya.. i like meeting all the nice merchants.. even when they turn out to be assassins trying to kill one of my friends... :)

Hey, there are SOME IG PC merchants selling scrolls ;)

Well, battle magic scrolls anyhow...

actally I wish we had more PCs selling all that stuff (like me and smithing stuff) the problem with that is 2 fold tho
1) if you have a lot of crafting skills, you have less combat skills and may be seen as weaker.
2) items are cheaper from monsters. No kidding.. if i make a long sword for 30 copper, and sell it for 60 copper, it has an IG value of 60 copper. If I get a long sword off of a monster, its value as tresure is 30 copper. its one of the reasons we see so few PC merchants.
Now I would like to see more NPC merchants (moreso as I have a certion pirate I need to unload some goods on), but I would also like to see production goods given as tresure given a more correct value. (2-3 times production cost for example)

course on that note, the whole nero economic system needs an overhall, but thats not easy to do.

There are pc merchants selling most of the above items. (I think alchemy is the hard one at the moment with landon broke)

I know I've had a large stock of potions at the earth guild for over a year... no one buys any. *shrug*

I would personally like to see more townsfolk, or merchants just for the RP value and to find out about the town, yes I know there are PC merchants and PCs who know about the town but for what ever IG reason they cant talk to those PCs there could still be NPCs who have life stories, problems, know about legends and folklore. That would be cool.

Hum, mayhap you miss them. I know bob (I think) the turnip farmer was out last event, and more of those early morning farmers as well. However I do have a way to help you:).
Since you live in the area now, ask plot for a "what does any common person living in CF know" and that will give you an idea of how to get more and learn more IG without asking the PCs.
