Polearm cores?

Kitespar or Fiberglass, non-tapered. Minnesota prefers goodwins and I don't have a better option for a source so I'll repost their link here. -> Goodwins Fiberglass

Goodwinds makes great stuff!

I would suggest no smaller than an outer diameter of .745 for two handed weapons
And .505 for one handed. Though that is just my weapon making tip of the day (I used to live about half an hour from them and would drive up to grab all my cores ~once a year)

Chiming in with my favorite construction materials:
I've had good success with the .602 cores (https://goodwinds.com/product-category/carbon-fiberglass/fiberglass/filament-wound-epoxy-tubing/) for 2H weapons. They fit this blade foam like a glove: https://www.mcmaster.com/4530K162/ - 3/4“ Thick Wall, 1/2” ID, 6 Feet . And if you are doing an order from mcmaster, this is my favorite tip foam: https://www.mcmaster.com/8643K546/ - its dense enough it doesn't fold but not so dense it doesn't have enough give.

These materials make good solid weapons that last for years without whip or rattle. 3/4 wall is thick enough you can do some shaping (though I don't) and still have it be thick enough on the blade.

(The equivalent links for 1H is .505 core w/ https://www.mcmaster.com/4530K161/ for blade foam.)

The only downside of ordering materials is shipping can be expensive -- but it costs about the same to ship 1 piece as 12, so it often makes sense to find some folks to do a group order with so as to split up that part of the cost.

How do you make polearms out of these? The length for polearms is like 76 in and these are like… 32.5? Is there a pattern or something I can work from? I’ve never really made anything but basic swords and such…

You got to pick the size appropriate for you are making.
FWETFL602084 FL-602 x 84.0" FWET - this is 84" long piece of .602.
You can cut them down with a saw. You can make a basic one much like a sword.
But look at some pictures and see what other folks did, and try it out. The core lasts forever so if you don't like how it comes out you can remake it.
