Possible game days in Sept?

Hey, I was just wondering if there were any plans (or if something could be set up) for a game day(s) in September? Several of us are not making it to Nationals so getting the chance to play sooner would we sweet.

No worries if not, just curious.

With our close neighbors in Chicago having two events between Nationals and our next game, with many of our people wanting to go to them, I doubt we will be hosting any one-day games in September. We haven't talked about doing any amongst us plot people, I have entered trade-show season for my work, and two members of the plot team have been busy with school starting. One day games are not something easily whipped up on a whim. They take time to prepare, and I do not believe we would be able to provide a quality one day or October game if we had to split our planning time up.

If we get the numbers, then maybe we could have an unofficial game, planned by other folks to give the plot guys a rest.

Honestly guys I suggest going to chicago. It is like maybe 60-70 bucks to PC (TOTAL with gas, if you get a good car pool together), or possibly only 25-30 to NPC. I can tell you right now, any attempts at putting together an impromptu game will fail miserably... Fight practice on the other hand is a good idea =P.

I'm just saying, chicago offers the chance to play, meet new people, maybe NPC if you usually PC, introduce your character to Chicago so you can blanket their events, thus making your character grow faster. AND it doesn;t require massive planning from us, as it is already established..

The only way I'm getting to the Chicago Sept event is if David Raatz (or some other kind individuals) gives Jen & I a ride...

But yeah, a fight practice or even a unofficial game day *however it's done* would be better than nothing!

I need two other people to volunteers to help with planning.
I also need to ok it with Dave and see if we can get xp for official fight practice stuff.
And I need to pick the date.
I'd like to provide food so I'm thinking about 5$ fee
I have two locations locations in mind, one is free and slightly smaller (my backyard) the other may have a small fee. Both are in Otsego MN. (hey if I'm hosting might as well make it easy for me)

I will be getting stuff together by Friday and get a topic about it up.

As I've noted before, we do give goblin stamps for planned, open fight practices, as long as we are given two weeks notice in advance to make sure people can come if interested.

Folks interested in hosting an actual game day event is an interesting topic and something I'd be happy to look at in the future, however planning for such an event is extremely involved and a significant undertaking. If you are interested contact me privately and I can give you an idea of what I'll be looking for before okaying/adding a game day to our schedule and our staff will be happy to help with much of the logistical work etc.
