The general public of Tarndale and folks that traveled from Andar are invited to attend a public forum held every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 2pm on the subject of Magic Theory. Experts on the subject of Magic and Magic Theory will be at this forum to answer questions, explain the applications and dangers of magic, and possibly demonstrate examples. Any may come and learn from these experts at their leisure. Attendance of these forums is not a requirement and is solely voluntary.

These public forums will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 2pm in the Tarndale Meeting Hall as weather and other obligations permit through April.

The skills to use magic will not be taught at these forums. Only the theory and application of magic will be discussed for those curious about its function and naive of the dangers. This may include field trips to explain the function of the Circles of Power, possibly demonstrate offensive magic on captured aggressive beasts such as the Lizards or Spiders of the area, and maybe even show Ritual Magic should an opportunity arise.

If an expert for a particular type of magic that you are interested in is not at these forums the other experts will be able to, at the very least, direct you to the best place to find them.

I wish to make known to all that the Brotherhood of the Star plans to have a ritual cast on Saturday, September 22nd, at around 5pm, as a supplemental demonstration to this forum. This ritual will take place in the field in front of the Meeting House. The ritual will not be anything that could bring danger to the town or immediate area, but will have some sort of physical manifestation to demonstrate, in a limited capacity, the awesome power that is Ritual Magic.

Any who are interested in attending are welcome. Questions before, during, and after the ritual are to be expected, but questions during the ritual will be fielded by someone other than those participating in the ritual.

This ritual will be the conclusion of this public forum on Magic. If the inhabitants or nearby dwellers have additional inquiries they are encouraged to seek out either the Brotherhood of the Star or the Earth Guild.
