Resolved Potion coatings on weapon traps

If you have either a weapon with the potion coating ritual or a congealing powder superior equipment, can you use that with a weapon trap?

For example, would you be able to coat a weapon trap with a purify potion to hit everyone with it?
How about using stopper anything to add a life potion to the trap?

Since the potion is operating as a coating in this context, it follows all of the same according rules. This includes potions created with Stopper Anything. Just make sure you get it on video if you do it.
