Potion vials specific to HQ.

Quick question: It seems to me most PCs and NPCs at HQ tend to use the same make and model of vials/test tubes for potions and I was wondering where folks tend to purchase them. I'm pretty fond of the little buggers and I'm working on an alt who's going to need a lot of 'em. Any help would be delightful!

Mike V used to purchase them in bulk and sell them at logistics for 10 cents a pop. in october however, we were flat out of them... so maybe he reordered ::shrug::

Doh! No one told me. I'll be ordering some but probably won't get them before the first event.
 
you and several others were made aware at the event. people were trying to create potions and alchemy to go out in the treasure bucket and there were none left. :thumbsup:
 
Also to note I just found out walmart sells them in their party section 100pk for $15
 
Robb/Mike: thank you for letting me know! I'll definitely end up taking advantage of the 10¢ dealio. Luckily, I won't need the vials until the June events when I bring in my tasty artisan alt.

Nuheran: thank you! I'll definitely be buyin' those! I've been told they come in sassy colors, too, which is exciting from an organizational standpoint. 8D My OCD will be so pleased.

I went to WalMart today but couldn't find any in my local store. If anyone can get some, we will gladly reward you with GS or even reimburse you if you prefer. We need some for this weekend!!!!

How many do you need to float by for this event? I can get them for $4.99 for 25 (about 20 cents each) and have them delivered by the event. I know it's a bit more than the 10 cents you were selling them for - but let me know what you need to float. I have amazon prime, so overnight shipping costs me $4 - that's it, and I'll have them there for Saturday morning - unless there is someone else I should ship them to (like you) so you'll have them Friday.

I ordered 50 just in case. I'll give them to Kyle when I get there on Saturday :)
 
I actually kind of like the bubbly ones because it'd be easer to get the tags out. Sure, it's a little more work to clean 'em out before an event, but I'd rather do that than fumble around with the vials I have now trying to get those gosh-darned tags out. Even my tiny fingers are useless!

I normally carry tweasers for just that reason :)

I normally carry tweasers for just that reason :)

That would work for my alt character, because he is a delicate flower. Jovunn would rather just throw the damn vial against the wall and say "the potion isn't working today."

Also, I agreed on the ones with wands. Life is SO much easier with them. Especially for us sausage-fingered folk XD
 
I might be able to pick up some more and have them cleaned before the event. can't have enough GS :thumbsup:
