pre-reg's for february

I was told we would be running under the new edition for february... but doesn't that make pre-reg'ing difficult?

Which edition are we pre-reg'ing under and which edition will we be playing under?
 
Though I am not apart of logistics, I would say that you could go the safe route and send both lists: one for current edition, and one for the new edition. That way all your bases are covered.

I'm up for that... but does anyone know where we can get charts and stuff for the new edition? There a spell list on the NEROHQ forum, but I have potion, alchemy, and trap stuff too and I haven't seen/heard if any of the points changed at all. (I'm assuming they did, like Purify potions because it got a good power/level increase)

It really depends on when the book comes out. You used to work for a chapter, you should know that things do not always follow a rigid schedule. I'll try and see if I can track down if the books are back from the printer yet.
 
Last I had heard on here the printing was delayed. Does this mean we have books somewhere that could be aquired before the event? If so It'd be nice to know cause reading ahead of time is much easier than cramming at logistics.

where do you find the spell list for the new edition?

Can someone get a link who knows where it is?

Due to the minor changes being made to most things, a normal pre-reg will work just fine for now. If something changes (like you memorize an endow as a C caster and the book DOES make it out) don't worry. I'll either shoot you an email back if there's time or have a note put in your pre-reg bag that you need to pick new spells for that level.

Besides, I don't know how plot's going to handle the spells changing/being added to schools. Maybe you won't get them right away. :P

To elaborate, if we use the new rules and you have lost access to a spell/item/ability you have memorized, you will be notified so you can change them up as needed. This also goes for spells which change levels or production items which change costs.

If you have gained access to a new spell/production item, remember that it isn't in your book yet, so you can't memorize/make it anyway.

I will attempt to repost the list from HQ shortly, and will try to get an update on the books.

I wasn't when I played during the last new rules change. Probably not, but I will open a dialogue with staff.
