Question about "Nobles"

I have a question regarding these Nobles I keep hearing about.

Who are they?? Is there a list somewhere of who they are? I feel like my character should and would be able to recognize and know who is one. In the book it says that they will/shall wear a white belt to differentiate themselves, but I did not notice that. Please help me out so I may RP this properly.

White belts are generally an indication of knights (There were a few at the last event), though for 'general' nobility (IE: Not landed, simple Lord/Lady stuff), there isn't any sort of 'tell'. Some will use their titles left and right, some will avoid using them. Crowns of varying fancy-ness are indicative of higher nobility, Counts, Barons, Dukes, etc.
 
Yes, your PC should have a pretty good idea of who other PCs nobles are and their elevations were public ceremonies. We intend to have more of this kind of information (including how a person would go about becoming a noble and what that title entails both IG and OOG) on our website, once that's up-- hopefully in the next couple months. Like others already noted, there's really no way to tell except for: Knights should wear a white belt and Dragoons should wear a black badge with a silver dragon.
