It's fine. To be honest, I'm not that emotional a person, but, you know, hearing something like this...I guess I just don't quite know what to think yet. I haven't seen him, as he lives in a separate house from the one where I usually stay [my parents are divorced], and his parents were actually coincidentally visiting at the time that it happened, so they took care of him and got him to the hospital. I then heard about it on the phone from my grandfather, and then shortly afterward I posted here. I guess you could say I'm still in shock about it.
Oh, and I still haven't forgotten about the money I need to pay you for my weapon. I have it, so hopefully whenever it is we do finally meet again, I'll give it to you. Anyway, I was just wondering if there would be problems with my having to cancel my participation so close to the time it would start. I hope not, since it was an ordeal for me to save up the money for it.
As I said, hopefully if this resolves itself quickly, I'll be able to make it to the November event, and then I can finally give you your money, and have that off my shoulders. It all depends on whether or not my father recovers in time. I'm guessing he will, but you never know with these kinds of things. So, I guess I'll talk to you guys again, maybe tomorrow after I've visited him and figured out the details of what his condition, and how long it will take to heal is.
