Reminder for this weekend (Weather)

The best weather guys we can find suggest we'll get storms blowing through like we've been seeing all week. It's likely these will be heavy rain squalls that should blow through fairly quickly. We do have some indoor space that is mod reasonable, but please bring a couple changes of clothes (especially socks!) and foot wear that can stand up to wet grass.

how do those work out for running away quickly? :twisted:
 
David, you would be surprised how fast you can run in Steel-toed boots when you're on the opposite side of a large factory floor and you can hear your machine's alarm going off.
 
Ah good news, the latest revision says no rain tonight, hopefully we'll see a dryer event than expect (I mean, it's not like it's a Chicago larp event...right?)
 
Hey just because I have been to like 5 chicago events and it has rained at all 5 events I dont know what you are implying...it never rains in wayside
 
It has rained at every single chicago event since I started NPCing, so like over two years
Not that thats a pattern or anything, is suspect sunny days and clear night the rest of the year!

"So far"being the important part of that. The rain last night was ridiculous.
 
It was last night well into early morning -_-
 
Well...the rain wasn't THAT bad. Made for a heck of a good stealth mod going through a small lake.
 
And to top it all off... there's no more undead. In my barn.
 
It was way cool throwing lightning bolt spells when lighting is rolling through the sky.

If I hadn't been about to die if I were to so much as be sneezed on I would have gone to the undead animals mod. That sounded like so much fun! Though the thunder storm made that battle all the more awesome.

True, pretty sure undead would have done more than sneeze on me too. But hey, at least we learned a valuable lesson. Thunderstorms are great biata motivators!
