Request for more stuff to spend gobbies on

While activates and banes are cool, I'd like to suggest some other options.

You've got the LCO scrolls (like Ohio and NJ)
You've got the special abilities (like Catskills)
You've got heroic death (New Hampshire I think) although with any luck that won't help me in the near future!

And then other things - like special plot writeups - maybe a between game action that gets in the newsletter or something.

I'm sure other people can come up with more creative ideas - the point is to give people ways to spend gobbies other than magic items and death buybacks.

well, you're also missing monthly blankets, event blankets, and production per game.

and while I'm not against your idea, the majority of our player base does not have so many gobbies that they are all looking for new and exciting things to spend gobbies on. most of the folks i deal with have just enough to blanket their characters regularly and pick up a magic item off of a pick list then they npc.

Yes we do have the blankets and stuff. I understand the second point but it's possible people only have enough gobbies for blankets and items because that's all they get to do. They might just do more if gobbies were more exciting. I could be wrong but it's easy enough to find out and there is a potential upside.
