In the Dragon packet, it states specifically that Resist Magic may be used against dragon magic. This is supported by one of Scott's posts here.
However, in the Dragon Mage packet, it says specifically that Resist Magic may NOT be used as a valid defense against dragon magic.
This is a case of differing deliveries? Where the Dragon Mage is basically limited to, "I call up the power of the dragon to...<name of ritual>", where a dragon can simply use "Magic...<name of ritual>" if they choose? If that is the case, what is the reasoning behind allowing Spell Shield and Reflect to work, but not Resist Magic (RM seems to be a "smart" spell shield now?)?
Thank you for your time.
