Return LCO Effect

Just trying to make something more clear in my head.

Is return a substitute for 'no effect' or a different kind of Resist? Just trying to clarify my strategy. If it's a FOIG thing that's fine I guess. Other defenses I, as a player, know if it's a limited thing or I should change my effect group. If I throw a gas, and hear resist, I know I might waste some gold, but one will eventually land. If I hear No effect, I just stop with gases. I throw a prison and hear return.... I am puzzled. If that's totally intentional, fine. Just asking.

Thanks,

-Joe

OK, so theoretically there are a limited number of 'returns' per card.

Thanks.

We aren't very big on monster defenses in the first place. I don't think I've written a card with more then 2 returns (Truthfully, it was probably 1). But, yes. The intent is to make some monsters calling defenses an easier pill to swallow for casters.

Oh I think it's great! I just didn't want to keep throwing webs if Return was akin to No effect.

As a substitute for resists it's fantastic. I defiantely felt better about throwing takeouts around. Keep it up.
