With Oregon's event in the rear view mirror, I turn my eyes towards Seattle's April 1-3 event. I will be traveling from Tillamook Oregon and will have room for another person or two.

Will you be passing through Seaside, OR? Don't know my way around Washington and lack a second person for navigation (usually my brother acts as navigator but work has him locked down and unable to attend events for likely the rest of the season). I'll contribute to or cover gas costs.

I can go through Astoria. It is a halve hour longer according to mapquest. But for company and gas money the 1/2 hour isn't too much longer.

Going through Astoria isn't too bad. Just take highway 30 over to Longview. Head through Longview to I-5. Then head North until exit 95. Go East until the road hits a T, turn left and the park will be on your left.

Finding the part of the camp that we use is much harder. Follow directions to the boat launch, Most of the way to the boat launch (there's a large circular parking area), you will find a road to the right with a sign that hopefully says Alliance Seattle (sometimes it doesn't). Follow that long road until the end and you should be at the "tavern".

Hope that helps.

Thanks, Dallas. I'll let you know as soon as possible whether or not I will be able to attend the event. All is dependent upon how things play out with Spring Break at the site I'm stationed at as a security guard.
