Hey folks! The Chicago opener is the week after the SoMN one. If you're interested in PCing or NPCing, I'm hoping this post can help with ride situations.

I hope to be able to make it as an NPC but it's still to be seen whether or not I can make it. Assuming I can due to the wonderful world of public school in which I still partake, the earliest I'd be able to leave is 3:30. Are any of the drivers leaving as late as that?
 
Pssh, I left school early to drive down to Chicago events back in the day. The frequency of my "dentist appointments" seriously should have started making my teachers worry for my oral health. ;)
 
If anyone wants to be SUUUUPER crazy with me I'm going down Thursday to run around in the Field Museum before the game.

Interestingly enough while I need a ride down there, I will be coming back late so I only need a single seat towards Chicago. Or I might fly if I have no other option.

Anyone else looking to come to Chicago this weekend? Especially to NPC? ;)
 
Is anyone else from SoMN planning to go to Chicago? I'm trying to figure out if Carly and I need to split off a second car to accommodate extra people. And more NPCs are absolutely welcome! We have 60 PCs prereged for this event and the deadline hasn't even hit yet!
 
The current plan is that Ryan is taking a group in his car, and Carly and I are driving down from Rochester early Friday afternoon. If anyone else wants to come along, we've got room for one or two more, but you'll have to make your way down to Rochester first. As much as Briar and Asher complain about Wayside, I think we actually run a pretty fun game - come check it out!
 
I will be going with Chris H. and Kat M. and will be staying post game for a day or so in town.
