Ok, as most of my knowledge of the state of Washington consists of the first 110 miles of I5 from the Oregon/Washington border, I need to ask you all a question:

1. If I happened to fly up here:
A. Would anyone be able to pick my skinny wolf-butt up from the airport,
B. If someone was available to pick my skinny wolf-butt up from the airport, which airport should I set the reservations to arrive at
C. If I did fly up here, would people be down for me staying an extra day or two and leave on Wednesday morning?

These are the questions I ask you.

-Matt, who hates flying but will fly up for you people so you'd better be greatful...or you will pay...

A. Yes, probably, depending on when and what day.

B. Seattle-Tacoma (SeaTac) International Airport (SEA)

C. We have couch space.

-Dan

Curse your skinny wolfie butt, why must you fly up for the one event I WON"T make it to?! Come in october instead. You know the halloween games are always the best one of the year anyway, so why waste it?
Of course, if you come up october as well, disreguard previous message.

A. It would probably be on Friday, and the when is open for whenever is good for whoever is picking me up.

B. That's what I figured.

C. I think you'll have to fight Leigh-Ann for the possibility (and that's a fight I wouldn't want to see, it'd be ugly) but maybe.

Reasons for not coming up during the Halloween event
1. It is Election season and if I was to leave the city (let alone the county) for any length of time in the month of October that would make it so I couldn't work, my coworkers would hang me from the rafters. By my testicles. So, please, think of my testicles (at least in that not-getting-hung-from-the-rafters-by sort of way, any other way would just be creepy).

2. The Halloween Event, for Thorn, has only been second to the December event for the title of "Most Death Spells Taken at an Event Ever". Thorn's taken to hiding in wherever he goes when he isn't around people and drinking, a lot, during this part of the year.

3. If I don't come up in October, I can come up in November when there isn't the fear of being made to hang from the ceiling by certain tender parts of my anatomy.

4. I haven't been to a NERO event since February. If I can go to September, I will because it is the closest.

5. I promised Leigh-Ann I would be there. And if I don't go there, she will be unhappy. And when Leigh-Ann is unhappy, people pay for it. And usually I'm the one who makes them pay. I really don't want to have to kick my own butt.

6. I can't think up any more funny, half-serious reasons...well, mostly serious. Reason one and two are DEFINITELY serious.

If you end up flying up at an odd time and think you could stand a car ride with me, I'd be willing to play chauffer.

(P.S. I'd go with Leigh Anns... that couch still hasn't had enough febreeze dumped on it :p)

(P.P.S. Dan, I don't know if you noticed, but a whole ton of the smilies don't seem to be working?)

Hey Matt, igure out what time you will be arriving and let us know. There will be somebody there to pick you up. If I dont here of a definent person to pick you up I will make sure I am there to do it.

Looks like you have no shortage of picker uppers! Allow me to throw in my car as an option as well, I need to refresh my mind of how Sea Tac works (that would be the best airport to fly in at, as Dan said) cuz i have other people to pick up at the airport this month as well.

Yes, just be warned, my couch eats people, and has some loose springs on the inside... O_O

However, it is a nice sleepy place. And we have a guest bed. So the couch isnt your only option if you come to stay at our place.

Sea-Tac is where you want to fly into wolfie. Depending on what time I may or may not be able to pick you up.

Our couch and extra bed are free for you to sleep on too!!

And yes you did promise you would be there!!

I am going to be in CA in September too, but I don't think I will have time to make it over to SC at all. :(

And then my next two planned trips to CA are to go to Fresno, ick, ick, ick.

Looking forward to seeing you!!!

Take the couch: its more comfy.

Trust me, its a couch that seemed to be made for sleeping.

Also, I would offer a ride from Sea Tac Air Port, but giving you a piggy back ride from there to Seattle would be just plain silly.

Why?! Fresno ='s ***. I mean, seriously. There are few places in California that even Satan won't go to and Fresno is one of them. I know you have family in that lower pit of suck but can't you come by Santa Cruz just once? *big ole sad puppy eyes...you know the ones...*

Ok, as game is usually called on around 8:30, I was thinking of trying to arrive sometime around 6 or 7-ish. That work for people doing the picking up? And I need to know when people can drop me off again. How long does it take to get to Sea-Tac anyway?

Sea-Tac is just south of Seattle, about 15-30 mins drive depending on where you're coming from. Remember to bring an extra 5 bucks for the ferry (we're at Camp Moran, not Miller this time around), plus some to chip in for your driver (who has to pay more to get their car across).

You'll probably want to get there earlier, BTW...since the drive will be new for everyone I expect people will want to head out earlier than usual. I will be heading out of the Seattle area around noon, so I'm available before then, possibly, to get you.

-Dan

Hey Dan...How long would you say the drive is from the ferry dock to the campground?

~Jacquelyn

A million years. Better get driving.

Glad to see you might be getting your skinny *** up here dude. Hope I get to see you.

*nod* Yeah, well, my skinny *** has been busy. 8P

Ok, here's what it's looking like:
If I fly up on the 23rd I can save a little bit of money because I can sign up for a SWA Internet fare price and save a little money? Leigh-Ann, think you can tolerate having the puppy around an extra night? 8P

Also, I'm looking at going home on Wednesday night, would this pose a problem, interfere with anyone's plans?

-Matt, loves you so much that HE'LL FLY

Hmm, ferry prices are a little odd for this trip, actually. I'll be posting about it in the event info post later on, but be prepared for approx. $20 round trip (assuming everyone is willing to pitch in to their drivers).
